Acumen Dental Academy is a newly established training facility dedicated to improving postgraduate dental education in Hong Kong and across Asia. We address the critical need for enhanced training facilities by offering hands-on learning that enable general dentists and dental specialists to refine their skills whilst staying up-to-date on the latest techniques.

A leading esthetic dentist, Dr. Tse continues to work in private practice at Perfect Smile Esthetic Centre in Hong Kong. He holds Master's degrees in both Implant Dentistry (HK) and Prosthodontics (UK). With a special interest in esthetic and restorative dentistry, he studied at the Kois Centre in Seattle, graduating in 2017 and later joining their faculty as a clinical mentor in 2021.  In addition to enjoying his clinical practice, Dr. Tse is a Master and Global Instructor for Digital Smile Design (DSD) and serves on the Invisalign Global Faculty and APAC Faculty. In addition, he was the president of the Hong Kong Society of Esthetic Dentistry (HKSED) from 2018 - 2022 and was also appointed Honorary Assistant Clinical Professor at the University of Hong Kong in 2024. Recognized as an Associate Fellow of the American Academy of Esthetic Dentistry for his contributions to esthetic dentistry worldwide, Dr. Tse's career reflects a lifelong commitment to learning and improvement—a philosophy he is eager to share with participants at his new academy.
As the co-founder of a multi-disciplinary private practice nestled in the heart of Central, Hong Kong, Dr. Tam stands at the forefront of implant and digital dentistry. He started his implant training with a rigorous year-long implant training program at the prestigious Eastman Dental Institute in London and followed that with over 20 years of postgraduate training in courses & conferences, particularly the USC program on Surgical & Restorative Implant Dentistry. Driven by his vision to foster similar educational initiatives through the ADA, Dr. Tam leverages his profound understanding of structured learning and clinical mentorship to empower both new and seasoned professionals in the field of implantology.  In 2014, he also launched a digital laboratory built to provide advanced technical solutions for fellow dentists. His expertise in digital and implant dentistry led has gained him positions as a speakers, solidifying his role as a leader in the dental community. In addition, he was the Vice President of the Hong Kong Society of Esthetic Dentistry (HKSED) from 2018 - 2022 and was also appointed as Honorary Assistant Clinical Professor at the University of Hong Kong twice.
Colloboration with HKSED
ADA is closely collaborating with the Hong Kong Society of Esthetic Dentistry (HKSED) to enhance the educational offerings available to dental professionals in Hong Kong and in the region. Most of our courses will actively seek CME (Continuing Medical Education) and CPD (Continuing Professional Development) accreditation, ensuring that attendees can gain valuable credits while staying updated on the latest advancements in everyday dentistry.​

To maintain high educational standards, the speakers selected for our courses will be vetted and approved by the HKSED Council. This ensures that all topics covered are not only relevant but also aligned with the latest professional standards and best practices.​

ADA is also committed to co-organizing events such as symposia and conferences with HKSED. These larger events will serve as platforms for local and international networking, knowledge exchange, and professional development of inter-disciplinary dentistry.
