On August 25, 2025, Acumen Dental Academy proudly hosted The Aesthetic Edge lecture, featuring the renowned Dr. Jun Iwata, who was specially invited from Japan for this event. Dr. Iwata is widely respected in the field of prosthodontics, known for his innovative approaches and commitment to excellence in dental care.

This session explored the intersection of time-tested principles and modern innovations in prosthodontics, emphasizing the importance of biomechanically sound tooth preparation, provisionalization, and occlusal harmony for achieving predictable, long-term outcomes.

Dr. Iwata showcased precision-driven strategies for tooth preparation and occlusal design, highlighting how meticulous attention to axial reduction, margin geometry, and occlusal dynamics can optimize aesthetics, function, and durability.
